This page will hopefully answer some of those random questions you might have about health and safety when using any wax melts at home.

Keep melted wax away from children and pets.

~

Always use within sight and never leave unattended.

~

Wax will remain hot for a while after tea light has been extinguished or electric burner switched off.

~

Always ensure that you do not overfill the pool.

~

Do not try to move your burner until wax is completely solidified.

~

Do not add water or fragrance into the wax under any circumstances.

~

Keep wax clear of any debris.

~

Only ever use unscented tea lights.

~

Never use more than one tea light at a time and only burn for a maximum time of four hours.

~

Ensure surface under the burner is heatproof.

~

Do not pour unwanted wax down the plug hole!! It will solidify and cause a blockage!!

Wax melts are not edible!

How to clean your burner safely 

Ensure the tea light has extinguished or you have turned your electric burner off.

~

Allow the wax to cool slightly and simply pop a cotton wool pad or ball into the pool.

~

This will soak up the wax.

~

Use as many as you think would soak up your melted wax best.

~

Dispose of the wax safely in a bin, DO NOT pour down the plug hole!

~

Give the burner a wipe clean of any left over residue, and your burner will be ready to go again!
